Photo Analysis & Skin Scanning

ÉPIDERME uses photos you submit solely to generate your skin diagnostic report. Here is exactly how your images are handled:

• Collection — Photos are captured or uploaded by you voluntarily to initiate a skin scan.
• Processing — Your photo is sent securely to Anthropic's API for AI-powered analysis. Anthropic does not store or train on your image. Analysis is processed in transit only.
• Storage — ÉPIDERME does not permanently store your photos. Only the resulting diagnostic scores and biomarker grades are saved to your account to enable longitudinal tracking.
• No sharing — Your photos are never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
• Deletion — You may delete your scan history and associated data at any time from your account settings.

Data We Collect

We collect your email address and account credentials for authentication, skin age scores and biomarker grades generated from your scans, and product preferences you save in your Smart Inventory. We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are processed securely by Stripe.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to deliver your skin diagnostic results, track your progress over time, and personalise product recommendations. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with data brokers.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@getepiderme.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Scan scores are stored in Supabase with row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your records. We conduct regular security reviews.
